John "Sonny" Smallwood, 77 of West Lafayette, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 4th. Preceded in death by his mother, Opal Smallwood and brother, Paul Smallwood. He leaves behind many family members including, Bonnie Page Smallwood, his former wife of 31 years; sister, Darlene (Dave) Harvey of Akron; half-sister, Sandi Yurick and two half-brothers, Wayne Welch and Chad Welch; three children, Lori (Jim) Conlon, Mark Smallwood and Scott Smallwood, all of Newcomerstown, Ohio; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
