John Marvin Weaver, 81, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Aultman Compassionate Care with family by his side. John was born in Canal Fulton to the late Willard and Lydia (Wittman) Weaver and was a Canal Fulton area resident all of this life. He was a member of the Canal Fulton Lions Club for 45 years. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by daughter, Lynette Marie Weaver and sister, Aletha Gardner. John leaves behind his loving wife, Beatrice Weaver; son, Jeffery Weaver; grandson, Michael Weaver (fiancee Lindsay Azar; great-grandchildren, Deacon and Brooklyn; sister, Barbara Speakman; close friends Gerald and Lorene Kiefer, Robert Schaffer and numerous family, friends and former co-workers. The family would like to thank Stephanie, Patty and Louise for the great care they gave John and all of the staff at Compassionate Care and Hospice for all their kindness. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held FRIDAY, 2:30pm, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Procession will form at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt 93) Canal Fulton. Please arrive by 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canal Fulton Lions Club, 735 E. Cherry St., Canal Fulton, OH 44614.
