Joseph F. Sernicola, age 84, passed away Friday, November 6, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Sandra Sue Sernicola and his sister, Vincy Timura. He is survived by his daughter, Rosemary “Rose” Cromley and her husband, Scott; son, Tony Sernicola and his fiancée Theresa DeGray; and son, Daniel Sernicola and his partner, Jacob Hays; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and his loving sister, Marilyn and her husband Alex Zelovic.

Joe graduated from Coventry High School in 1960 and proudly serviced four years in the United States Air Force. He retired from Ohio Edison and was a lifelong member of the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his yard. He also loved spending time with family and friends. We will always remember his special smile, caring heart and warm embrace through good times and difficult days. The memories we shared will remain part of us always. His earthly journey has ended but his memory lives on in the hearts who knew and loved him. May he rest peacefully free from pain. Dad we will miss you till we see each other again.

A private service will be held for close family and friends. Those wishing to honor Joe’s memory can make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The family thanks you for your kindness, love, and support.
