Joseph E. Wise, 74 of Canal Fulton died Saturday, February 19, 2011. He was born in Clinton and was a life resident of the area. Joe retired from Goodyear Aerospace after 38 years of service and was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church, Canal Fulton and the Canal Fulton Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Maude; sisters, Helen and Jane; brothers, Claude, George and Jim. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lillian; children, Susan (Doug) Smith; Joseph (Lynn) Wise II; grandchildren, Adam and Justin Smith and Jake and Nate Wise; sister, Frances Shaw; brothers, Bill and John Wise, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service THURSDAY, 11:00 a.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church, 336 West Market Street, Canal Fulton with Pastor Michelle Nickodemus officiating. Burial Canal Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call WEDNESDAY 5 pm to 8 pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry Street (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Canal Fulton Lions Club.
