Josephine L. (Kanuckel) Turner, 86 of Canal Fulton, formerly of Newark died Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Josephine was born March 24, 1927 in Warsaw, Ohio to the late Herman and Leona (Shepard) Kanuckel, was a majorette at Newark High School and also a member of the O. E. S. in Newark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Clyde Jennings Turner in 2001 and by her sisters, Maxine Brandon and Jean Powell. Josephine is survived by her children Rod (Valerie) Turner of Doylestown; Debbie Watson of Johnstown; and Tammy (Steve) Eckles of Canal Fulton; Seven grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Rodney Ison and her Home Health Provider, Daphne Mellott, for their loving and kind care of Josephine. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson Cemetery, Newton Twp., Licking County.
