Joyce Laverna Sparks 81 of Canal Fulton formerly of Kentucky and South Carolina died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at her daughter, Dianne Fowler's home in Canal Fulton. Joyce was born January 7, 1933 in Gaffney, South Carolina to the late Wolford and Edda (Sprouse) Bridges. She was a member of the Morman Faith and retired as a supervisor in the cotton factories of Gaffney, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Edward Fowler; second husband, James Sparks and son, Randy Fowler. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Dianne Fowler and Joyce Sexton; son Mike Fowler; 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Gene, Benny, Woodrow and Joe; sisters, Juanita and Doris "Sis"; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service MONDAY, March 17, 2014 , 2:00 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) with Pastor Jon George officiating and where friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service.
