Joyce Ann (Taylor) Carmany, age 76, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted nurse, passed away on July 11, 2024.

Joyce was born on March 8, 1948 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Ruth and Walter Taylor.

She graduated from Barberton High School Class of 66' and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College of Nursing in 1969. She was proud of her work as a nurse and was an RN at Massillon Community Hospital for over 40 years.

Joyce loved to go boating and spending time at their camper at Salt Fork Lake. She was a kind, compassionate, and a generous woman who made a difference in the lives of many. Her legacy of love and service will live on through her family, friends, and the countless patients whose lives she touched during her career as a nurse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Tim Taylor. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Richard, whom she married on September 18, 1971; children, Todd (Nicole) Carmany and Troy (Gina) Carmany; grandchildren, Mason, Delanie, and Cole Carmany; step-granddaughter, Savannah Gagnon; siblings, Cyndie Taylor, Greg (Laura) Taylor, Tina (Shawn) Braman and Debbie (Francis) Owens; sister-in-law Alice Taylor.

Funeral Services will be held TUESDAY, July 16, 2024, 12:00pm (Noon) at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Manchester Cemetery. Visitation Monday, July 15, 2024, 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
