Judith A. Johnson, 83 of Canal Fulton, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Born November 6, 1942 in Akron to the late Louis and Mary (Allison) Brennan; she spent her career as a computer programmer retiring from Goodyear Aerospace in 2007 and then went on to work at Wright Tool for six years. Judy was a member of SS Philip and James Catholic Church.
Judy had a passion for soccer; whether watching it on tv, in person or playing in her senior women’s league. She loved her cats, collecting teddy bears, going on nature walks, planting flowers, crocheting, knitting, traveling with her husband Dick and being a part of the Wednesday Weavers Club. She was also a member of the Northwest Lions Club. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Wojcik. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Richard “Dick” Johnson; sons, Jeffrey Burns, Mark (Kristin) Burns and Kyle (Jenn) Burns; stepsons, Bradley Johnson and Michael (Karen) Johnson; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Johnson; grandchildren, Ashley (Michael) Church, Danielle Johnson, Matthew Burns, Kathryn Burns and Max Burns; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Johnson; siblings, Mary Brennan, Eleanor Horning, Louis “Weeg” Brennan, Barbara DeLuca and William (Julie) Brennan; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held WEDNESDAY, February 11, 2026, 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7pm with Deacon Robin Adair officiating.
