Judith A. Spahr, 70 passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Akron General Medical Center. Born in Akron, she had been a Manchester resident all of her life having worked for 20 years as a bus driver for Manchester Schools and former owner of the Falcon Restaurant. Judith loved playing with her grandchildren, tole painting and going south for the winter where she sat on her balcony everyday to watch the dolphins. Preceded in death by her father Ray Orrand; survivors include her loving husband of 53 years Edward; children Jeff (Kathleen) Spahr, Eddie (Rhonda Jackson) Spahr, Denise (Ken) Diefendorf and Jerry Spahr; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; mother Helen Orrand (Turner); brothers Robert (Barbara) Schaffer and Ray (Ginni) Orrand. Family and friends may call FRIDAY, April 4, 2014, 5pm to 8pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton). In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the New Franklin Fire Fighters Association, 5605 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319.
