Judy M. Haiduc, 80 of Massillon, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024. She was born March 3, 1944 to the late Raymond and Alice (Gibbs) Mattox Sr. Judy was a mother to many. She enjoyed working with kids, whether being a Brownie leader, Cub Scout leader, or member of the PTA. She enjoyed volunteering in the community as well as daycares. She coached her daughter's softball team and also was the scorekeeper for her sons baseball teams. She loved supporting her kids and grandkids by cheering them on in whatever they did. Judy was truly selfless and touched so many lives. She was a friend to everyone. She always knew what to say in any moment. Judy also had a great sense of humor, was very personable, and enjoyed traveling and taking trips to the casino.
Judy was a loving daughter, sister, devoted wife, best mother in the world, adoring grandmother, aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond Mattox Jr. and James Mattox; sisters, Dorothy Peters and Virginia Warner. Judy is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Haiduc; children, Amanda Haiduc-Gordon, Samuel Eugene Haiduc III and David John (fiancé Melissa Gall) Haiduc; grandchildren, Brendan Matthew Gordon, David John Haiduc II and Adriana Elizabeth Gordon; sister, Jean Sampsel; brother Thomas, (Debbie) Mattox Sr.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held THURSDAY, May 16, 2024, 11:00am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4940 W. Tuscarawas St., Canton. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Visitation WEDNESDAY, 5pm to 8pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton.
