Karen Marie Ketler, 76 of Canal Fulton, OH has left her earthly body on December 25th, 2025 to be in the presence of God.

Karen was born on January 7th, 1949 in Doylestown, OH. Karen graduated Doylestown High School in 1967 and started to work as a dental assistant but left the career to be a stay-at-home mother for her children.

In 1985, Karen met Larry and was married on June 8th, 1985. Together they created a happy life sharing the ups and downs of life and their love of Jesus.

Karen enjoyed sewing and reading. Karen created a wedding dress for her marriage to Larry, a wedding dress for her Niece, Halloween costumes for her grandchildren, and many blankets.

Karen worked and retired after 20 + years from Carriage Hill Cleaners as a seamstress where she was able to sew daily. While working there she developed a long time friendship with Paula.

Karen enjoyed going to the ACTS group at Orchard Hill Church, where she played Domino's and spent time with friends.

Mostly, Karen enjoyed her dogs Reid and her baby that she found comfort in, Maggie Mae.

Karen was predeceased by her mother and father, Paul and Marie Stufflebeam, and her husband of 38 years, Larry Ketler. She is survived by her son Mike Waltz, daughter Jami (Ray) Wagoner, her Grandsons James, Noah, Caleb (Alyssa), Gino and great granddaughter Violet.

A special thank you to her son-in-law, Ray. Ray spent everyday caring for Karen. His dedication and patience gave comfort to Karen and a constant during her difficult battle with Alzheimer/Dementia.

A Celebration of Life will be held SATURDAY, January 10, 2026, 1:00pm at Orchard Hill Church, 2545 W. Comet Rd. Clinton, Dr. Drew Causey officiating. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Visitation ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the church.
