Karen Elizabeth Ausprung (Schuster), beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2016, surrounded by her family. Karen was born August 12, 1945, at Akron City Hospital. She spent much of her early life in Akron, Portage Lakes, and Barberton, and was a resident of Canal Fulton for 42 years. Karen graduated from Coventry High School in 1963 and from the Akron School of Practical Nursing in 1968. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Herman, her two daughters, Kathy and Becky, four grandchildren (Lauryn, Julie, Alek, and Liam), and one brother, Robert. Karen spent her entire adult life devoted to her family, and she will be deeply missed. Memorial service Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry Street East, (Route 93, Canal Fulton) and where friends may call from 5:00 pm until time of services. The family will host a memorial dinner immediately following the service at Prime 93 (Anthe's), 4315 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319.
