Kathryn Fratt, 84 , born Oct.9,1927 at a small mining camp in Clarksburg, W. Va. to the late Giovannt (John) & Giovanna (Jenny) Fratt. Katy worked for G.C Murphy Stores for many years in Miami, Fla. and West Virginia and after retiring moved back to Akron in 1990, to be with family. After her health declined she moved to Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton, where she participated in the ringing of the bells and was a member of the Church at Chapel Hill Community. She was a blessing to her family and was loved by all. A special thanks to Chapel Hill for her care over the years and where she loved living the balance of her life. Besides her parents, Katy was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Keys, Sara Oakley and Jenny Fratt; brothers, Sam Fratt, Louis Fratt, Frank Fratt and Dominick Fratt and is survived by sister, Rosie Piccolo; brother, Anthony (Tony) Fratt both of Michigan; sister-in-law, Helen Fratt of W. Va., numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service FRIDAY 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Hill Community, 12200 Strausser NW, Canal Fulton, Ohio with Rev. Sandra Hutchinson, officiating. Burial Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. Friends may call at the Chapel Hill Community, FRIDAY from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chapel Hill Community Activity Fund.
