Kenneth L. Gerstenslager, 96 of New Franklin, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018. Born January 28, 1921 in Clinton he had been an area resident all of his life graduating from Clinton High School and retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. Kenneth loved flea markets and yard sales and was a proud Army veteran having served with General Patton during WWII. Preceded in death by his wife Jane (Kepler) Gerstenslager in March 2017; he is survived by his children, Ken B. (Judy) Gerstenslager, Jeffrey (Janis) Gerstenslager, Teena Gerstenslager; grandchildren, Tracie (Bob) Toth, Staci (Jeff) Revlock, John, Matt (Brittany), and Erik (Lisa) Gerstenslager and Frank Wall ; great-grandchildren, Megan, Jessica, Owen, Ada, Brittany and Frankie; sister, Mary Bogart.

Funeral Services will be held FRIDAY, January 26, 2018, 12pm Noon, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Jim Gindlesberger, officiating. Burial at Manchester Cemetery with military honors conducted by Firestone VFW #3383. Friends may call Friday from 10am until the time of service.
