Kerry Alan Ball, 54 of Canal Fulton died Friday, May 1, 2015. Kerry was born in Akron and was a life resident of the Akron/ Canton area. He was a 1978 graduate of Ellet High School and served in the U S Army. In 1990 he began service with the Canton Fire Department, where he obtained the rank of Division Chief in 2007. He was an exceptional carpenter, artist, landscaper and motorcycle enthusiast. Kerry was a lifetime member of the Catholic Faith and most recently attended Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with his mother. Preceded in death by his father, Bert and daughter, Kaitlin, he is survived by his wife, Yvonne; children, Dylan (Hallie) Ball, Eric Ball, Audra Ball and Emily Ake; mother, Irene Ball; brothers, Kevin Ball and Tim (Debbie) Ball; sister, Tiffany Ball; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road, City of Green with Fr. Dave Durkee celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family.
