Larry E. Benner, 78 of New Franklin, died Monday, January 9, 2023. He was born Aug. 8, 1944 in Sumter, SC to the late Roth and Cecilia Benner. Larry graduated from Manchester High School Class of '66 and was a US Army veteran. He had a dry sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Bryan Benner; brothers, Thomas and George Benner. Larry is survived by his sisters, Linda (George) Buehler of Starkville, MS; Gini Racin of Canal Fulton and Kimberly (Lee) Sevier of Leland, NC; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family wishes to thank Kathy and the entire hospice care team at Chapel Hill Community. Per the family's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
