Larry D. Horning, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his four children, David (Heather), Todd (Vicki), Scott (Tanya) and Jennifer Moore & Ten Grandchildren. He was born on December 20, 1936, to Gilbert & Naomi Horning. His older brother, Donn is deceased & his younger brother, Ric lives in Wyoming. Larry graduated from Barberton High School in 1955, where he developed his lifelong love of sports. After spending four years in the Air Force, he returned home and married Patricia McBride in 1962. He and Pat lived and raised their four children in Manchester, where Larry volunteered countless hours to the Manchester Panthers football program. He was honored several times by the OHSAA for his dedication and integrity. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at SS Philip & James Catholic Church, 412 High Street, N. Canal Fulton with Fr. Tom Acker, S.J. officiating. Friends may call FRIDAY, Feb. 3rd from 6-8 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton).
