Obituary


Laura "Jo" Clark, 77 of Canal Fulton went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, after a brief illness. She was born March 8, 1935 in Kayford. W.Va. and attended East Bank and Leewood High School. She moved to Canal Fulton in 1957 with her loving husband of 61 years, R L Clark.. She and her husband were owners of Canal Street Video, Inc. Laura enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling, bowling and country music. Preceded in death by her parents, Ennis and Cleo (Rankin) Austin; daughter, Patricia Clark Wise; son, Robert L. Clark; great grandson, Jeffrey A Wise; great granddaughter Dominque M. Clark; brothers, Charles and Robert Austin; sisters, Betty Goins and Barbara Allen. She is survived by her husband, R L Clark; sons, Kerry (Pam) Clark, Daniel (Rachel) Clark and Rodney Clark; daughters, Beverly (David) Lowther and Pamela (Mark) Moore; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers Ennis J. (Mildred) Austin of S. Charlestown, W.Va., Raymond (Rose) Austin of Fredricksburg, Va.; sisters, Norma Stanley of S. Charleston, W. Va., Belvia (Bob) Lummus of Pavillion, Wyoming and Carolyn Mobley of Massillon, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service MONDAY 2:00 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton) with Pastor Gary Baltzly officiating. Burial Canal Fulton Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home MONDAY one hour prior to time of service.
