LaValle Bowman “Bo”, 76 years old, died after a long illness. He grew up in North Hill and graduated from Akron North in 1968. He was an Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a resident of Kent for many years and called it his favorite place. Bo enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State and loved watching old westerns.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph and Danny; sister, Carol; father, Ralph and mother, Lucille. Bo is survived by his brother, Clyde (Denise) of North Carolina; brother-in-law, John (Pam) Billow of Indiana; long time best friend, Ken DiFiore of Florida; many nieces and nephews.

A military graveside service will be held MONDAY, May 18, 2026, 1:15pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery by 1:00pm.
