Lena R. (Sabbagh) Colby, 85 of Canal Fulton, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at Chapel Hill Community. Born on August 30, 1932 in Akron to the late George and Agnes Sabbagh, she was a life resident of the Akron area and worked for Heritage Square Pharmacy for at least 25 years. Lena was famous for her hot rice. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A (Bob) Colby Sr.; brother, Joe and sister, Josephine Tolbert. Lena is survived by her children, Stan (Gleendene) Colby of Akron, Robert (Brenda) Colby, Jr. of Canal Fulton and Danny (Linda) Colby of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Dustin (Aubree), Danielle, Ryan, Ethan (Mia), Kiley, Craig, JB (Jackie), Tony (Bekah), Nick (Taylor) and Cory; eight great-grandchildren; sister Julie Sabbagh; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held TUESDAY, 10am, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Rev. Rod Grabski, officiating. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery.
