Linda (Burlingame) McKeivier

On the morning of November 10th, just as the season's first snowfall had begun, Linda McKeiver passed following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Linda was born July 22, 1945, to the late Homer and Pauline Miller in Salem, Ohio. She was a 1963 graduate of West Branch High School and a 1967 graduate of Malone College. Linda taught kindergarten and first grade at St. Paul's School in Canton for eight years and kindergarten at Saints Philip and James School in Canal Fulton for twenty-four years. Following her retirement from teaching, she became a Orton-Gillingham trained tutor, helping those with dyslexia learn to read.

She is survived by her husband Larry McKeivier, sons Frank (Barbara) Kocab Jr., Gregory (Suzette) Burlingame, and John (Michelle) Burlingame, step-children, Kevin, Karen, and Terry McKeivier, Laureen (Bruce) Penrod, brothers Roger Miller and Richard Miller, sisters LaVonne Edgerton, Sandra Hollabaugh, and Kate McCallister, grandchildren Alice (Daniel) Schroer, Lydia Kocab, Tom (Kendra) Kocab, Bret (Naaijia) Marcus, Alexis (Derek) Goodin, Liliana, Maya, and Leah Burlingame, Autumn (Andrew) Gundrum, Rabecca and Elizabeth Sanderson, and Angel (Aaron) Albright, and many great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Darrell Burlingame, brothers Robert and Ronald Miller, sisters Vanda McQuiston, Irene Morkel, and Sally Pollock, step-daughter Teresa McKeivier, and granddaughter Angel Burlingame.

A Memorial Mass will be held SATURDAY, November 22, 2025, 11:00am at SS Philip and James Catholic Church, 412 N. High St., Canal Fulton.
