Linda Lavon Winans passed away peacefully after an extended illness on 12/13/21 in Mercy Medical Center. Linda Lavon Winans was born 10/06/1951 in Philippi West Virginia to the late Wibur (Jack) and Nada (Marie) Winans. Linda lived most of her life in Ohio in Portage County and Stark County.

Linda graduated from Northwest High School in 1970. She also earned a degree in Sectetarial/Word Processing from Owens Business College in Toledo. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for several companies, and retired from Loral in Akron, Ohio.

Linda leaves behind her brothers, Keith Winans (Mikki) and Mark Winans (Sue), her nephews Ed Myers and Jim Myers, and niece Rachel Tackmeyer (Jeff), great nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. Linda will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Linda has been cremated per her wishes and will be interred in the Windham Cemetery with her parents.
