Lois J. (Reeve) Rice, 83, formerly of Canal Fulton and Norton died Thursday, August 1, 2013. She was born in Peoria, Illinois and lived most of her adult life in Ohio. Lois lived for supporting her children and grandchildren in their sports and many other activities. She was an active member of HighPoint Christian Church, Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy "Lee" Rice; son, Lee Rice and infant son, Eric Rice. Lois is survived by her children, Larry (Dianne) Rice, Tom (Jennifer) Rice and Cathy (Elbert Scott) Bertram; daughter-in-law, Donna Rice; grandchildren, Cheri, Pam, Leslie (Chris), Doug, Kristin, Dana, Kelly, Jamie (Josh), Alisha (Kyle), Melissa (Ryan), Jeremy, Jared (Vanessa) and Shelby; nine great grandchildren and expecting number 10; brother, Charles (Janese) Reeve, nieces and nephews. Friends may call SUNDAY, 2-4 pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton). A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HighPoint Christian Church, 2545 West Comet Road, Clinton, OH 44216.
