Lorna J. (Uplinger) Kreitz, 88, formerly of Green passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018. Lorna was born March 13, 1930 in Greensburg to the late Robert and Mabel Uplinger, had been a life resident of the Green area and was a volunteer cook at the Haven of Rest. Besides her parents, Lorna was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Raymond A. Kreitz; sons, Ronald E. and Alfred "Sonny" Kreitz and is survived by her son, William Kreitz; daughter, Kathy Burns; six grandchildren, Mandy, Steven, Jennifer, Sarah, Cory and Curtis; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, including Virginia Bowman. Funeral service FRIDAY 11:00 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton with Rev. Michael Prebynski, officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, Jackson Twp.. Friends may call at the funeral home FRIDAY one hour prior to time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
