Mae A. (Markley) Cole (aka Ellison), age 84, formerly of Doylestown, passed away at Chapel Hill Community on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Mae was born October 7, 1930 in Pittsfield, OH to the late Herbert and Florence (Long) Markley. Mae loved music, especially Christian and Country, and her flower garden. She had a love for the staff and residents at Chapel Hill Community and was always very concerned about their needs.Preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Ellison and her five siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Ellison and Sandra (the late Stephen)Walker; sons, Charles D. Ellison, Edward A. (Karen) Ellison; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; special friends, Lisa Benson and Judy Wells. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93), Canal Fulton with Pastor Dale Saylor officiating. Burial to take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth. Friends may call at the funeral home FRIDAY from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. or the Chapel Hill Community.
