Mallie (Lloyd) Gandee, 98 went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 5, 2012. She was born November 2 , 1913 in Elana, West Virginia to the late Everett and Bertha Lloyd. She attended Grace Church, Norton and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and reading. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, James Walter Gandee, who died in 2003; daughter, Iris June Gandee, granddaughter, Diane Matheny and 10 siblings. Mallie is survived by her children, Madeline (the late Herbert) Matheny of Barberton, Eugene (the late Bettie) Gandee of Barberton, Lewis (Dorothy) Gandee of Canal Fulton and Treva (Jack) White of Canal Fulton; 14 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and 19 Great, Great Grandchildren; sister, Halcie Dawson of Brunswick, Ohio; nieces and nephews. Funeral Service MONDAY, 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) with Rev. Robert Combs officiating. Burial Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron.
