Margaret L. "Peggy" Rachel, 83 of Massillon , formerly of Canal Fulton died Monday, Sept. 1, 2014 at Meadow Wind, Massillon. Peggy was born June 20, 1931 in Canton to the late Robert & Louise (Hunter) Hise. She was originally employed by General Telephone before retiring from Sprint and enjoyed travelling with close friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Rachel in 1973. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Susan (Larry) Wyant; sons. John A. "Jay" (special friend, Jaime Raynovich) Rachel, Robert J. Rachel and Daniel Rachel; Six grandchildren; Two Great grandchildren. Funeral service will be TUESDAY, SEPT. 9, 2014 at 11am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93), Canal Fulton with Rev. Henry Harris, officiating. Burial will be at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call MONDAY, SEPT. 8, 2014, 6-8pm at the funeral home.
