Margaret J. Hudson, 96, passed into life eternal on November 8, 2025.

She was born November 14, 1928 in Mingo Junction, Ohio to the late John and Anna Zadanski. Peggy proudly graduated from Steubenville High in 1946. She lived most of her life in Barberton and Norton and retired from Babcock and Wilcox in 1984 with 30 years of service.

She was an active member of Columbia United Church of Christ since 1957 where she sang in the choir for 50 years and participated with the Welcomer's Club. Over the years she baked hundreds of nut rolls to raise money for the church. An avid gardener, she was a member of the Twinsbrooks Garden Club since 1980. Peggy was active in the Eastern Star #595 and received her 50 year pin May 2023 from the Ravenna Chapter #46 OES.

Margaret was preceded in death by daughters, Jacqueline and Kathy Ann; sisters, Ann, Mary, Helen, Betty and Agnes; brothers, George and John; and husband of 39 years Luther D. Hudson. Peggy is survived by daughters, Sherri (Eugene) O'Donnell of Virginia and Melody (Christopher) Larson of New Jersey; grandchildren, Cherati, Amy, Jeremy and Jacob; along with many nieces, nephews and special friends, Bruce and Ellen Beckle.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rose Lane Nursing Home and Wellspring Hospice for their care and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held FRIDAY November 14, 2025 (her 97th birthday), 11:00am at Columbia United Church of Christ, 978 Wooster Rd. West., Barberton with Pastor John Henniger officiating. Visitation Friday 10:00am until time of service at the church. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Columbia United Church of Christ.
