Maria Chibante, 92 of Canal Fulton, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Rose Lane Nursing Home. Maria was born October 22, 1930 in Azores, Portugal to the late Jose and Merces Ferriera. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Chibante. Maria is survived by her daughters, Noel (Michael) Horvath and Luisa (Saath) Koy; grandchildren, Josh (Brittany) Koy, Chis Koy, Evan Horvath and Catherine Horvath. A Private Funeral Service was held for the family with burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery.
