With deep love and affection, we announce the peaceful passing of Marjorie Ruth Fellmeth, a loving and devoted mom, grandmother, and friend, who passed away on August 19, 2026. Born October 11, 1926, in Mansfield, she was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, Wittenberg University (AB), and Kent State University (ME). She was employed as a teacher at Norwest School district.

Ruth will be remembered for her kindness and generosity and was involved and contributed to many charities with a special fondness for animals. Ruth loved golfing, reading, swimming, gardening, and spending time with her family. She traveled extensively through Europe, Soviet Union, China, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Canada, and many other countries.

Preceded in death by her husband, the Honorable Judge E. Fellmeth, daughter Sharon Lynn Sample, parents the Reverend Dr. Charles Frederick Sheriff and Marjorie Norton Sheriff, brother Dr. Robert Edward Sheriff. She is survived by her son Scott E. Fellmeth (Renata), granddaughter Lauren Knapp (Matt), grandson Scott Fellmeth, step grandchildren Nile and Jazzmin Godovitz, great grandchildren Ben and Emma Knapp. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Betty and Arlene, her caregivers.

Funeral Services will be held on WEDNESDAY, August 26, 2026, 1:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St, (Rt 93) Canal Fulton with Jim Gindlesberger officiating. Visitation ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the funeral home. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery.
