Mark R. Carothers, 68 of Canal Fulton, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 13, 1957 and retired from Laborers Local 1015 after many years of service. Mark enjoyed vacations to the beach, working in his shed and being outdoors. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Carothers; brother, Brent Carothers and son, Joshua Carothers. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Mary Carothers; sons, Christopher, Matthew and David Carothers; four grandchildren; mother, Virginia Carothers; sister, Vonnie Bowles and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held TUESDAY, March 3, 2026, 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton with a funeral service immediately following at 12pm. Burial at Clinton Cemetery.
