Mary C. Beney, 91 formerly of Canal Fulton passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in Orrville. Mary was born in Middletown, Ohio, was a life member of the VFW #9795 Auxiliary, Canal Fulton and SS Philip & James Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband, John P. Beney; one daughter and two sisters and is survived by one daughter, two sons. numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of the Christian Burial will be MONDAY 10:00 am at SS Philip & James Catholic Church, 412 N. High Street, Canal Fulton with Fr. Kevin McCaffrey, celebrant. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron and friends may call SUNDAY 2-4 pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93) Canal Fulton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be may to Wayne County Hospice, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, OH 44691.
