Mary J. Carmany, 84 of Barberton died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012. Mary was a lifelong resident of Barberton and loved to sew, crochet, knit, work crossword puzzles and watch classic movies. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold B. Carmany; sisters, Gloria Brown, Dorothy Gerbasi and Pauline Lee; brothers, John Wolf and Jack Wolf. She is survived by her children, Patricia Perry, Richard (Joyce) Carmany, Albert Hess, Terrie (Bob) Miller and Judith (Bill Stewart) Carmany; sister-in-law, Nancy Wolf; 14 grandchhildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A private memorial service will be held at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton) with Rev. Sandra Hutchinson, officiating. Final resting place will be at Manchester Cemetery.
