Mary Ellen Beckner, age 89 of Canal Fulton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born on January 7th, 1934 in Richwood, West Virginia to Chriss and Reba Cottrell and she was a proud resident of Canal Fulton for over 50 years.

Mary Ellen was a devoted homemaker and member of the former Clinton First Church of Christ, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

She was a loving wife of 67 years to Aubrey L. Beckner, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Marshall; her children, Vicky L. Coffman (Mark) and Douglas M. Beckner. She was also a proud grandmother to Michael Coffman, Lindsay Sage (Greg), Amanda Beckner, Kaylee Beckner, and Niki Beckner (Neel Gangoda), along with her 8 great-grandchildren, Izzy, Carter, Bryn, Cohen, Emersyn, Niko, Norah and Navani.

Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, October 21, 2023, 5:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Tim Schlaegel officiating. Visitation ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time. Private burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
