Mary Joan Gerstenmaier, 87 of Green, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012. She was born in Green, and retired from Goodyear Aerospace where she worked in Electronics. She was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Portage Lakes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marie Spikerman, sisters, Evelyn, Rhea and husband, Paul. She is survived by her children, Judi Prather, Ron Gerstenmaier and Mary Gerstenmaier of Green. Grandchildren, Shelly, Kelli, Randy, Julie, Hollie, Paul and great grandchildren, Logan, Sarah, Chloe, Rachael and Shannon. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Church, 1800 Steese Road, (Green). Family and friends are also invited to a luncheon in the church hall following the services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Queen of Heaven Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown, OH 44685.
