Mary Evelyn (Lones) Gwinn, 87 of Canal Fulton died Sunday, November 4, 2018, surrounded by her family at her home. Mary was born October 2, 1931 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Clarence R. and Ruth E. (Collins) Lones. She was a graduate of Barberton High School, worked for several area Dary Marts (Canal Fulton, Manchester & North Canton) and had also been a secretary with M.C.A. Signs. Mary enjoyed puzzles, bingo, jeopardy and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Gwinn in 2005; her great grandson, Mason Brown; sister, Marilyn Fisher and two infant brothers.
She is survived by eight children, Robert P. Gwinn, Mary Collard, Patricia (Jack) Hardie, Michelle (Charles) Mettler, Valerie (John) McKnight, Steve (Ganine) Gwinn, Kathy (Daniel) Herold and Mark (Beth) Gwinn; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held THURSDAY 11:00 am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry Street East, Canal Fulton with Rev, Rod Grabski, officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, Jackson Twp. Friends may call at the funeral home THURSDAY 10 -11 am.
