Mary M. Rowe (Sims)

After a long battle with cancer, Mary Margaret went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2015. She was a proud veteran who retired after 20 years service in the Air Force. After serving our country, she had many professional jobs, the latest was with Altercare in Canton. Mary's heart was bigger than life. Her greatest love was God, family and her bible study meetings. Preceded in death by her mother, Dolly Sims, Mary is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Stone (Robbie Lee); son, Joshua Rowe; father Ralph Sims; sister Doris Hill; brothers Carl Sims (Debby), Ray Clemens (Jane), Ralph Simms Jr. (Patsy), William Simms (Sandy); grandbaby girls, Libbie and Lanie (who were the light of her life). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces. The family extends a special thank you to Lisa Murillo, a dear friend who cared for Mary over the past several months. Funeral Services will be held, TUESDAY, November 17, 2015, 11:30 AM , at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt 93) Canal Fulton, Pastor Mike McCartney from the Chapel in North Canton, officiating. Friends may call TUESDAY ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the funeral home . Burial with military honors, WEDNESDAY 10:30 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
