IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary "Muncy"
(Vukan) Weber
April 2, 1924 – July 12, 2016
Mary E. Weber (Muncy)
Muncy, as she was known to all, passed away on Tuesday, July 12th. She was born in Cleveland on April 2, 1924. Muncy was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, and is survived by sons, Steve (Sandy), Tom (Nancy) and daughter Nancy. Her six grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. Stephanie, Jeff (Miechelle), Erin (Val), TJ (Kristen), Jonathan (Beth) and Lauren. In addition, she leaves three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Someone once said "When Muncy hugged you, it was genuine." She was a kind, loving and peaceful lady. Her cooking was delicious, her baking scrumptious and her love unconditional. Muncy worked as a switchboard operator at Ohio Bell; then owned Muncy's Pizza Shop in Manchester before selling to stay home and raise her family. Her heritage inspired her to become a collector of Hungarian pottery, and she donated her pieces to be permanently displayed in the Zsolnay museum in Pecs, Hungary.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Ison and the staff at Community Health Care; Anna, Meagan and Renee at Summa Health Hospice and especially her wonderful swim aerobic friends whom she met at the Green YMCA many years ago.
Per Muncy's request, private family services are being held. Donations may be made in memory of Muncy Weber to: Green Family YMCA, c/o Lori Lautenschlager, 3800 Massillon Rd., Uniontown, OH 44685.
