MANCHESTER--Megan Nicole Kasmar went home to be with the Lord, March 17, 2011, her 16th birthday, after a strong and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was an eleven year cancer survivor. She is survived by her mother Nadine Kasmar; brothers Nicholas and Patrick and father Russell Kasmar; stepmother Chris Kasmar and stepbrother Timothy Pogvara; grandparents Carolynne Kasmar and Paul Kasmar; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends. She was an incredible inspiration and will be greatly missed. She showed us how to live by faith. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 2-5 P.M. at Manchester Christian Church, 930 W. Nimisila Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
