Melissa A. Makan, 51 of Massillon died Saturday, October 31, 2015. She was born July 23, 1964 in Orrville and was an area resident most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandkids and friends. Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Richard Koppes and fiancee, Robert Banner, and survived by her mother, Sandra (Evans) Koppes; children, Kevin Makan, Joe (Jessica) Makan and Kayley (AJ) Hattery; grandchildren, Noah, Alice, Carter and Aiden; brother, Eric (Sharon) Koppes and sister, Kimberley Johnson. Friends may call Wednesday, Nov. 4th from 5pm to 7pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton).
