Michael Joseph Hubany, 72 of Canal Fulton died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017 from complications following surgery. He was born September 23, 1944 in Collier, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Anna Hubany. Michael served in the U S Army Reserves and retired as a custodian with Northwest Local School District (Stark County) after 20 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and  one sister. He is survived by wife of 41 years, Dyanna (Taylor) Hubany; son, Michael Joseph Hubany II, daughter, Amanda (Scott) McCabe; granddaughters, Breanna and Alexis; sisters, Elizabeth Swartz and Barbara Barrick. A Memorial Service will be held TUESDAY, August 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, 363 Cherry St. West, Canal Fulton with Pastors Jon George and Patty Fryberger, Officiating.
