Millie Harris, 78, of Canal Fulton passed away peacefully Monday, June 9th, 2025. Millie was born February 20th, 1947 in Canal Fulton to the late Frank and Blanche (Roby) Dye and married Rex Harris September 16th, 1967. She spent 40 years working as a nurses aide at Rose Lane Nursing Home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Ellen Steiner, Irvin Dye, Doris Rohr, Nancy Schott and Paulene Huffstetler. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Rex Harris; their two children, Scott Harris (Mary) and Mike Harris (Chrissy) and her brother, Richard Dye. She has 10 wonderful grandchildren, Carson, Tucker, Samantha, Wyatt, Rex, Tabitha, Cody, Carly, Colin and Cameron who loved her dearly.

Millie was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma. Her grandkids held a very special place in her heart. She enjoyed going to every game and cheering them on in their various sports/activities. Her favorite hobbies were playing card games like Chase the Ace and winning at bingo with her late sister, Doris. She also enjoyed looking out the kitchen window every morning sipping her coffee. She was very generous, loved going out to eat at her favorite restaurants and walking along the beach at Hilton Head. She leaves behind many good friends and relatives and will be dearly missed.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral services will be held. The family kindly requests no flowers. Those wishing to honor her memory are encouraged to do so in their own meaningful way.
