Mitchell Ladich, 80 of Marshallville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 3, 2022. He was born January 29, 1942 in Akron to the late Mike and Kate Ladich and grew up in Carrollton. Mitchell graduated from Methodist Theological School in Ohio and served as a pastor in the East Ohio UMC Conference for 25 years. He loved farming and taking care of his animals. Mitchell was an avid reader and history enthusiast. He loved being with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Ladich; sister-in-law, Joyce Ladich; brother-in-law, Brian McNutt; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Mildred McNutt. Mitchell is survived by his loving wife whom he married April 7, 1962, Ina C. (McNutt) Ladich; children, Michelle (Wes) Virnelson, Deborah (Christopher) Watkins and Joanna (David) Kleckner; grandchildren, Leslie (Connor) Fluharty, Naomi (Joseph) Rall, Alina (Max) Shiller, Aneira, Bryn and Eleri Watkins, Allison, Andrew and Austin Kleckner; great-grandchild, Magdalene Rall; sister, Janey Bowser; brother, Richard Ladich; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marsha Ladich, Donald McNutt, Ned (Betty) McNutt, Jim McNutt, John (Mary) McNutt, Paul (Sherry) McNutt, David (Diane) McNutt, Cathy (Alfred) Erwin, Mary Fry, Rachel (Mike) Warner and Seth McNutt; numerous nieces and nephews. Per his wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022, 11:30am at Baxter's Ridge United Methodist Church, 4006 Jade Rd. NW, Carrollton, OH 44615 with visitation beginning at 11:00am. Committal to follow the memorial service. A lunch will be served after the committal. All are welcome.
