Nannetta Ruth "Nan" (Campbell) Downs was taken to be forever with the Lord on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Nan was born in Byesville, Ohio June 12, 1930 to the late, W. Edgar and Edith Campbell. Eventually the family moved to the Norton/Barberton area where she attended Norton high school met and married Jack Martin Downs. Nan was active in her church helping to plan children's and women's events. She also acted as secretary for her high school class reunion committee for many years. Nan enjoyed crafts, cats, bowling and made a wonderful pumpkin pie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Toledo.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Jack who lovingly took care of her in their home along with caregivers Billie Thompson and Tammy Dalton. Nan is also survived by son John and Peggy (Hanna) Downs of Phoenix, Arizona, son Ken and Mary (Triplett) Downs of Canal Fulton, Ohio. Grandchildren are Beth (Downs) Angelo (engaged to Van West), Tad Downs, Joe Downs, Josh & Kelley (Downs) Dunston. Great grandchildren are Tyler Moosey, Alex Moosey, Madison Pollard, Arlette Downs and Jack Downs. Also surviving are sister Marjorie Hellings of Wooster, OH and nieces Karen Kennedy, Cheryl Akerman and Marcia Hootman.

A Memorial Service will be held by the Legacy Christian Church (at the Trinity Lutheran Church), 7595 Middle St., Clinton, OH 44216 on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00 am. Gary Robinson and Norman Q. Maynard officiating. Final Resting Place in Clinton Cemetery.
