Neta M. Herman, 77 of New Franklin, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014. Born in Harrisville, WV she had been a New Franklin area resident for over 54 years. Neta retired from Akron General Medical Center as an RN with 42 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband Gary; mother Virginia Craft and brother Alva Cox; She is survived by son Jeff (Michelle) Herman; grandson Cody Herman; sisters Doris Sheffler and Hilda "Tootsie" McBride; good friend Jim Sneff; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, December 27, 2014, 12pm Noon, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Rod Grabski officiating. Burial at Manchester Cemetery. Friends may call from 10am to 12pm SATURDAY. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the American Heart Association, 3505 Embassy Parkway, Suite 100 Akron, OH 44333 or a charity of one's choice.
