Nick's life instantaneously ended early Wednesday morning while driving home from work when his car lost control. Nick was an intense power lifter -- awe-inspiring, respected by all, but still a humble, gentle giant and friend to all. He had numerous special friends who were privileged to receive his love in their own individual way. This was displayed through appearances as Saxton Hale, the horseshoe bender, and Wreck-It-Ralph at many anime conventions. Nick had a passion for all things Japanese-a shameless Otaku at heart. Nick was a lover of all things small and cute. Yet, always seen dressed in black, he thrived when enveloped in a foggy, creepy, spooky Silent Hill- like mindset. Role model to all ages, Nick had earned himself the moniker "Superman" from many younger siblings of friends. Nick was brutally honest, stubborn to a T, and tackled his goals and aspirations while walking through life according to his own self-imposed moral code. An all-encompassing sense of determination let nothing get in the way of accomplishing his goals. Nick was consistently striving to attain a new personal record in the gym or following the drive of his motoring enthusiast spirit in pursuing his next motorcycle, truck, or his ultimate dream of the Japanese imported Nissan Skyline R32. Preceded in death by his mother Lois (Westfall) Pivato; he is survived by his father Tony Pivato Jr; brother Kevin Pivato and grandmother Lois Westfall. Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, 12pm Noon, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt 93) Canal Fulton. Pastor Jack Pancher, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home MONDAY, 10:00am to 12:00pm. Burial at Newmans Creek Cemetery, North Lawrence. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the family.
