Opal L. Fisher, 86 of New Franklin died Thursday, March 5, 2015. Opal was born on July 20, 1928 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was one of eight children born to the late Mildred and Carl Emrick and a New Franklin area resident most of her life. She was a member of Community Gospel Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rude "Tex" Fisher in 1995. Opal is survived by her son, William (Tammy) Brissey; daughters, Cheryl (John) Russell, Vicki (Bo) Sennett and Stacy (Larry) Bray; Four grandchildren and Seven great grandchildren; sisters, Esther Hull and Maggie Prack. The family wishes to give a thank you to the Pleasantview staff for their care of our mom.

Family and friends may call SUNDAY, 3pm to 5pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton). There will be NO service to follow.
