Pamela Kaye Goode unexpectedly passed from this life on July 4, 2016.

Pamela was born on September 20, 1952 at St. Thomas Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls to Phillip and Jean (Chilcott) Joseph. She married Ronald Goode on September 7, 1974. She was a much loved wife and mother, devoted grandmother to Liberty, and a blessing to all who knew her.

She worked for 29 years at Summa (Barberton) Hospital, was a long-time volunteer with the Northwest/Jackson Soccer League, and an active social member of the Akron Ski Club. Pam had a wonderful sense of humor and a love of family, friends, books, and the beach (anywhere with sun!). She cared very deeply about persons in need, and, as an organ and tissue donor, was able to give once more to others in death as she always had in life.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald Goode; children Terrance Goode of the home, Tara Goode (Ian Slaymaker) of Kent, and Melissa (Jason Crawford) of Massillon, and granddaughter Liberty. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, Claudia (Ron) Zimmerman of Millersburg, Raymond (Tammy) Joseph of Circleville, Roger (Kathie) Joseph of Copley, and Rhonda (Bob) Oldaker of Coventry; Aunt Lois Esmile of Stow; brothers and sisters in law Diana & Lynn Hackenberg, Bob & Debra Goode, Scott & Juanita Goode, and Glenn Goode & Alexis Decrescendo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, sister and brother-in-law, Dana & David Cherry, and niece, Jaclyn Hackenberg Pobiega.

Visitation will be held at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St E, (Rt. 93)  Canal Fulton, OH 44614 on July 17th from 2 to 4 pm, followed by a reception and refreshments at the Northwest Stark Senior Center, 853 Locust St S, Canal Fulton, OH 44614, from 3 to 6 pm.
