Patricia "Patti" A. Sweet, age 75 of Akron, OH, passed away May 10th, 2023 with her daughters by her side. She was born June 23rd, 1947 in Barberton, OH. Patricia was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 35 years and was passionate about helping those of the community through sobriety. She had great love and dedication for her family, greatest passion being her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite hobby was sitting outside and sunbathing. She was preceded in death by parents, Sarah and Harold Briston, beloved brother-in-law Russell Aurand, nephew Eric Aurand, and Gordon Sweet, as well as many other precious friends. Patricia is survived by daughters, Melanie (Bruce) Kosco and Sarah (Bryan) White; grandchildren, Felicia (Michael) Folden, Haille Riddle, Gabrielle Riddle, Hunter Kosco and Blake White; great-grandchildren Lilliana and Luca Folden; sister Diane Aurand and brother Peter Briston. Visitation will be held SATURDAY, May 13, 2023, 2pm to 4pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4pm.
