Patricia G. Thompson, 94 of Manchester, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by people who loved her. She was born January 3, 1927 in Moundsville, WV to the late Alfred and Hazel Perry. A life resident of the Akron area she was a beloved mother, and grandmother, who worked hard raising her five children and had a strong belief in Christ. As the second born of 10 children, family values were the forefront of her life and Patricia loved the time spent with all family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Vernon Thompson. Patricia is survived by her children, Mary Haynes, Carol Thompson, Vicki (Neil) Hinton, Thomas (Harriet) Thompson and Brian Thompson; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held THURSDAY, May 27, 2021 2:00pm at Lakewood Cemetery, 1080 W. Waterloo Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cleveland Sight Center Society for the Blind, 1909 East 101st Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
